While we could go on and on telling you just how great our products and service are, ultimately it's what our customers think that's important. "Even among the many African-American hair types, mine would be considered "extremely challenging" because it was so neglected for the first three years of my life. My hair is very coarse, dry, thick, dense, and the curl is unbelievably tight and compact. What may appear to be a 1/4" strand will actually be more than 2" long. I ordered the "Gigi" black nylon brush and was absolutely AMAZED at how it handled my hair. The bristles actually could penetrate my hair that is as dense as a carpet down to my scalp without scratching, tugging or pulling it out. The black nylon brushes are also very, very easy to clean. I give them a light rinsing under the faucet and they are immaculate. My hair is natural, unprocessed, very short, and in very good condition considering its tendency to be dry, brittle and fragile. I'm in the process of growing it out (no easy task) and it is absolutely critical that I have the right tools to groom and style it without inflicting damage. I will use the "Grand Prix" for my general morning brushing and massage, and the "Gigi" for wet detangling and styling.
