Choosing the right hairbrush should be easy.  Unfortunately, many people base their buying decision more on how the product "looks" or how inexpensive it is than on how effective it will be for their hair type and styling needs. More often than not, what they end up with is a product that's all the rage or a great "bargain" but poorly suited to their hair type and/or styling needs.

That's why we developed  BrushWizard™: the internet's first wizard designed to take the guesswork out of finding the ideal hairbrush for your hair type and your styling needs.

BrushWizard™  begins by asking you a series of simple questions about your hair type, such as length, thickness, body, condition, etc.  Next,  BrushWizard™  asks you about your styling needs and about how you intend to use the product.

The characteristics of each model are compared to the information you have provided to find the hairbrush model(s) that best fit your particular needs. Each model is assigned an "effectiveness score"  based on how well it matches each of the following key attributes:

The results are sorted in descending order beginning with best possible match and ending with matches which may be effective, but may not exactly match the criteria you have selected.  Models that poorly match the required attributes are eliminated from the search results.

A word about how BrushWizard™ sorts the results:
Certain key factors weigh more heavily than others in determining how effective a particular hairbrush model will be.  Factors such as hair thickness and styling needs, for example, have greater bearing on how effective and beneficial the product will be when compared to other factors such as hair body or length.  As a result, the hair thickness and styling needs information you provide always play the most important roles in finding the best possible match for your hair type and styling technique.  For more information about the attribute effectiveness score, click on the "Effectiveness Score" links on any model returned in the search results.

In extreme cases, your hair type and styling needs may be such that no search results are returned.  Should this happen, please double check your selections to make sure the information you have entered is accurate.
